Notice of the Forty-Third Annual General Meeting 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that 43^rd Annual General Meeting of the District Council will be held at the Wisma Pengakap, 1 Scotland Close, 10450 Penang on Sunday, May 10, 2026, at 15:00 till 16:30 hours.

AGENDA

1. Address by the Chairman;
2. To receive the minutes of the 42^nd Annual General Meeting held on March 23, 2025;
3. To receive the report of the Secretary;
4. To consider the statement of accounts for the year up to December 31, 2025;
5. To elect the following Executive Council for the ensuring year:
   a. Chairman
   b. Vice Chairman
   c. Secretary
   d. Assistant Secretary
   e. Treasurer
   f. Assistant Treasurer
   g. Council Member (Lay Member) (four positions)
   h. Council Member (Warranted Group Scouter) (five positions)
6. To nominate the President for State Chief Commissioner’s appointment;
7. To nominate the Vice President(s) for State Chief Commissioner’s appointment;
8. To appoint the Badge Secretary by the Executive Council;
9. To appoint two independent Auditors by the Executive Council;
10. To elect one lay member and one group scouter (excluding the District Commissioner, Chairman, Secretary) as representatives to the Penang State Scout Council;
11. To consider any matter of which three (3) days’ notice shall have been given in writing to the Secretary.
